FAQ
OdO questions, answered simply.
Is OdO free?
Yes. OdO starts with free manual start-stop mileage logging. OdO Plus is available in app for phone auto-tracking and PDF reports.
What is OdO Plus?
OdO Plus is the paid tier for phone auto-tracking, saved places, review reminders, monthly PDF reports, annual tax reports, CSV export, and report history. Final localized pricing is shown by the relevant app store before purchase.
Is OdO available on Android?
Not publicly yet. OdO for Android is in active Google Play launch preparation with the same local-first Free and Plus boundaries as iPhone.
What happens if I do not subscribe?
OdO should keep the free local log useful for manual mileage records. Existing local trip data should not be deleted because the user must remain in control of export and delete options.
Does OdO need to stay open on screen?
Manual start-stop trips are controlled in the free app. OdO Plus adds phone auto-tracking where supported by the platform, so OdO should be left running normally rather than force-closed.
What does the USB beacon do?
The planned optional USB beacon would help OdO know when the vehicle has power. Beacon automation is a later premium reliability path after hardware testing, fulfillment, and support are proven.
Can I use OdO without the beacon?
Yes. The first paid launch is phone-first. Beacon automation is a later hardware path after reliability, fulfillment, and support are proven.
Is the beacon included with the subscription?
Not in the first paid launch. Paid digital features are handled through the relevant app store, and beacon fulfillment should wait until the hardware path is operational.
Where is my trip data stored?
OdO stores the core mileage log on your phone. Exports leave the app only when you choose to share or save them.
Can OdO classify trips for me?
The user remains in control and can mark each trip Business, Personal, or Ignored. Classification helpers may improve over time, but OdO should not be treated as tax advice.
Does OdO provide tax advice?
No. OdO helps create a mileage record for tax time. You should confirm tax treatment with your accountant or local tax authority.
